Its amazing how you can walk into a room,
And suddenly my knees are weak and I feel as if I were to swoon.
Our eyes connect across the crowd,
My ears start to ring and everything becomes so loud.
My breath becomes short,
My legs feel as if my weight they cannot support.
Your smile lights up the air,
Im fixated and can do nothing but stare.
My blood is racing violently,
Inside my hormones are screaming silently.
If you could only feel the way I do,
Then with you I could be your Boo.
I imagine sweet kisses at night,
Sweet lovemaking after petty fights.
But this is only a dream,
For I have a low self esteem.
I don’t have the courage to even say hello,
For fear of rejection which is such a hard blow.
So this is only a fantasy,
One that brings no joy or ecstasy.
So I smile back and I wave,
And think to myself, Maybe one day.
